Interview with Suffolk singer Connor Adams

I sat down with up and coming Suffolk singer Connor Adams this month to talk about his upcoming release, Don't Play With A Heart.

We talked about how the track came into being, from the very first riff to the amped up production - and how the new sound is exemplary of how Connor is evolving as an artist.

His successful debut album, Open My Eyes, was released in 2018. Its stripped back, acoustic sound (bar the heavier title track) was a far cry from what Connor's about to release this month. Yes, I got a preview - and, yes, it was awesome.

In our interview, Connor talked candidly about how it felt to play his biggest headline show to date at The Apex in Bury St Edmunds, the power of electric guitars, and his unexpected answer to the question of 'nerves'. Watch below!

Affordable and on-trend bridesmaid dresses

Goddiva Bridesmaid Dresses - Romance Collection

Happy Valentine's Day! No doubt we'll see many engagements popping up on our Instagram feeds today - after all, it's the most romantic day of the year. One thing that I'd like to see happen on social media today is support - support for those of us who are in love, and those of us who are single. There's no superiority in either, so to be happy for one another, regardless of our relationship status, is the best kind of love that we can all put out into the world!

If you are single, let me know what you're up to in the comments! There's a lot of pressure if you're single to attend an anti-Valentine's Day party, have a 'Galentine's Day' evening with your mates, or even find a last minute date. But, to be honest, I don't think there's anything wrong with treating it like a normal day and spending it as such. If you want to be alone, that's cool. If you want to spend it with others, that's cool. You do you.

By the way - if you feel like taking your mind off Valentine's Day, for whatever reason, I find that getting lost in a podcast is a great way to pass the time. Call Your Girlfriend, Guys We F****d and Hysteria are all great podcasts with a feminist undertone.

If you are in a relationship, and you've just got engaged today, congrats!
